A 6-month personal development programme for self-awareness, well-being and meaning

This structured programme combines one-to-one sessions, workbook exercises and ongoing reflection to help you understand your patterns, regulate your inner world and create meaningful change in everyday life.

As the world grows more complex, inner development becomes more important.

Inner development in a complex world

We live in a time when many external certainties feel more fragile: career change, economic pressure, social shifts, ecological crises, and a constant flood of information.

Our mind isn't always well prepared for this. It seeks control, assesses risks, clings to old patterns, or gets lost in thoughts that protect in the short term but constrict in the long term.

This program starts exactly there. It is a training ground for engaging more consciously with thoughts, feelings, stress, and change. The goal is not to control the outside world, but to become inwardly more flexible, more stable, and more capable of action.

  • feel challenged by change, uncertainty, or complexity

  • notice that old patterns of thinking and behaving no longer hold up

  • want to guide your mind more consciously and handle inner pressure better

  • want to understand how thoughts, feelings, and decisions are connected

  • want to develop more direction, meaning, and stability in turbulent times

  • want not only to understand change, but to embody it in everyday life

It is aimed at people who take inner development seriously and want to work on awareness, self-leadership, and concrete change over several months.

This program may be a good fit if you:

The six modules

The program is designed as more intensive support. Between sessions, you continue working with exercises, reflection questions, and small everyday steps.

1. Mindfulness

You learn to arrive more in the present moment. Not to push thoughts away, but to perceive more consciously what is happening right now.

2. Self-awareness

We look at beliefs, emotional patterns, and unconscious strategies that influence your behaviour.

3. Perception

You recognize how your inner filters shape decisions, relationships, and your image of yourself.

4. Self-regulation

You learn to better understand your nervous system and deal more consciously with difficult thoughts, emotions, and bodily reactions.

5. Direction & Values

We work on what really matters to you and what direction can emerge from that for your life and your work.

6. Action & Habits

Insights only become effective when they show up in everyday life. So in the end, it's about concrete steps, routines, and behaviour.

The idea behind the programme

Many people understand why they react in certain ways, but still find it difficult to change their everyday behaviour. This programme connects insight, regulation and action, so that inner development becomes practical and visible in daily life.

Understanding

You recognize emotional patterns, beliefs, and recurring behaviour.

Regulation

You learn to deal differently with thoughts, feelings, and inner tension.

Action

You translate insights into values-driven decisions and concrete steps.

The goal is not self-optimization. It's about becoming inwardly more stable, more conscious, and more capable of action.

Scientific foundation

The program is based on psychological and behavioral science approaches. These include, among others, psychology, neuroscience, acceptance and commitment therapy, and behavioral science.

The workbook contains scientific sources and combines theoretical knowledge with practical exercises. This creates a framework that is well-founded but remains applicable in everyday life.

Guided by Gregor Braun

I am a psychological counselor and coach in Zürich and co-founder of a private practice at Therapy Central. In my work, I support people and teams through personal and professional transitions. Stress, relationship topics, perfectionism, anxiety, and questions of meaning all have space in my work.

Before working in psychological counseling, I worked in transformation-oriented companies, consultancies, and academic contexts. This experience particularly shapes my work with people for whom personal development, professional responsibility, and inner orientation are closely connected.

What to know before your first conversation

Is the program a therapy?

The program is psychological counseling and coaching. It does not replace medical or psychiatric treatment. In acute crises or psychiatric emergencies, you should turn directly to an appropriate professional.

Do I have to be in Zürich?

No. The individual sessions can take place on-site in Zürich or online.

Who is the program not suitable for?

The program is not suitable if you are in an acute emergency situation or need short-term medical help. It is also not a good fit if you don't have the time or willingness to reflect independently and put exercises into practice between sessions.

Frequently asked questions

What happens in the introductory call?

We look together at your situation, your goals, and whether this program is the right fit. If another offering makes more sense, we discuss that openly.

Can I also start with psychological counseling?

Yes. If you're still unsure, psychological counseling can be a good first step before you decide on a longer program.
