Workshop: From Crisis to Contribution

A psychology-based, personal development workshop in Zurich

What is this Workshop about

Most of us move through life reacting: to pressure, expectations, cultural ideas. We achieve, adapt, and manage. But rarely do we stop long enough to ask what is actually driving us, and whether the direction we are moving in is genuinely ours.

This workshop creates that space. You will develop a clearer understanding of yourself - the patterns, beliefs, and emotions that shape your experience - and reconnect with what genuinely matters to you. You will leave with greater self-awareness, a stronger sense of direction, and concrete tools you can use immediately.

Participants typically report:

  • Stronger emotional resilience

  • A more grounded sense of self-worth

  • Higher self-awareness

  • Greater clarity about what matters to them

  • Concrete first steps they feel ready to take

What we will cover (full day)

The workshop follows the same arc as the From Crisis to Contribution workbook - lived as a guided experience rather than read on a page.

The workshop unfolds across six integrated stages

1. Mindfulness

Learning to be fully present. Not worrying about the future or ruminating about the past. Action is only possible in this moment.

2. Self-Awareness

Becoming aware of one’s own belief systems, emotional patterns, and unconscious behavior strategies.

3. Perception

We do not see the world as it is, but as we are. Learning to recognize perceptual filters & biases is the foundation for clarity and conscious choice.

4. Self-Regulation

Understanding the brain, regulating the nervous system and dropping the struggle with things we cannot control.

5. Direction & Values

Clarifying what truly matters. Developing orientation, meaning, and purpose in life and work.

6. Action & Habits

Transforming insight into consistent behaviour. Without action, insights remain meaningless.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many people attend an open enrollment workshop?

Open enrollment groups are kept small, typically 6 to 12 participants, to ensure enough space for genuine reflection and personal attention.

Is this group therapy?

No. This is a personal development workshop. It draws on psychological research and evidence-based tools, but it is not a therapeutic intervention. If you are currently experiencing acute mental health difficulties, individual therapy would be a more appropriate first step.

Can I attend if I am going through a difficult period?

Yes. In fact, many participants come precisely because something in their life is not working well. The workshop is designed to be supportive and carefully paced. That said, if you are in acute crisis, please reach out first so we can assess together whether the timing is right.

Will there be group sharing?

Some exercises include optional pair or small group sharing. Nothing is ever required. You set your own boundaries throughout the day.

What is the refund policy?

Cancellations up to [X] days before the workshop receive a full refund. After that, your place can be transferred to a future date.
